“The things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self interest are the traits of success.”—John Steinbeck Cannery Row (via quote-book)
“I’m inlove with you. I can’t promise a future, I can’t promise perfection, because we’re us… and I’m me, and who knows what will happen. But in my heart, I am sure. I’m inlove with you and I hope you’re inlove with me too.”—
“Love is passion. Obsession. Someone you can’t live without. Someone you fall head over heels for. Find someone you can love like crazy, and will love you the same way back. Listen to your heart. No sense in life without this. To make the journey without falling deeply in love, you haven’t lived a life at all. You have to try, because if you haven’t tried, then you haven’t lived”— Meet Joe Black (via quote-book)
Thank you following. Have been taking a look at your posts, and I am liking it all. Glad I decided to follow you! :) Thank you for taking a look at some of my posts, as you can tell.. I'm going through a lot.
And yes, I too am a hopeless romantic.. sometimes too much. Yet, often too little. Stay strong! :)
Thank YOU for following! I love almost every one of your posts! Haha As you can tell from the notifications of me reblogging almost everything!
There’s no shame in being a hopeless romantic, its actually a very rare trait and so hard to find! It’s a beautiful thing although loving so much comes at a price of hurting so much… The pain you feel is directly proportional to how much you love a person..
I can tell you’ve been through a lot but you’re stronger than you know, strength lies in simply trying because that is the hardest of all things, to have the strength to try. So never give up!
Thank you for your message :)
P.S I like spelling my words of completely and grammatically correct when I send text messages too! :D
“Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day, it is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every cranny of your body. No, don’t blush, I am telling you some truths. That is just being “in love”, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.”—
“When you stay at home at night, thinking of those who are long gone or those are getting kisses from someone that is not you, I love you. For those who want what they probably need and who’s bodies are starving not for food, for me, for you, and for all the people who never knew or understood what you would do for them. I love you. I love you. I love you.”—Mary Fons (via tuiteleleapaga)
“Insomnia is a kind of torture because while the world is fast asleep, you’re up all alone, your mind buzzing with every random thought in the universe. At some point, those thoughts will reach a standstill, and your mind goes blank. You become more aware of the silence and it’s during this silence that you realize how alone you are.”—(via where-the-heart-is)
